Sorry, thought I had answered it with my first sentence. ^_^ I'm not downplaying the significance of terror attacks, and I'm not trying to defend them. I just think the best way of making them stop is not to get angry. It's to not cause them in the first place.

When so far have we dealt with an unwarranted terrorist attack? I don't think there have been any 'preemptive' terror strikes here.
Chertoff: U.S. Should Review Terror Laws
Sun Aug 13, 2006
Um....How about no. As we have seen from all the evidence, there is no decrease in this activity when we keep taking people's rights away. In fact, the terrorist activity keeps rising no matter how much they tap our phones, or check our bank account statements.

Perhaps this is because there is no reason to have it illegal in the first place. Shame that this is only for the UK. For some reason the USAians are all bent up about this. Perhaps it is because they are lied to starting in grade school.
Cenk Uygur: The Better Way of Fighting Terrorism
Sun Aug 13, 2006
